Bryce Canyon is geologically the youngest of the National Parks that make up the Grand Escalade. Erosion is very actively at work, turning the sandstone into a red clay-like mud at times. Here one can see the wildest structures and one can only imagine how the indigenous inhabitants must have experienced this landscape.
